A quick fix to Continous Blood Glucose Monitoring (CGM) challenges

A CGM works through a tiny sensor inserted under the skin, usually on the belly or buttocks and arm. The sensor measures interstitial glucose level, which is the glucose found in the fluid between the cells, not like a finger prick blood test. The sensor tests glucose every few minutes. A transmitter wirelessly sends the information to a monitor and or the insulin pump.

I have inserted many over my years of Diabetes Educating and find really only one main issue with them and that's keeping some of them on, especially when I have someone who is super active or they sweat a lot due to the type of work and or its summer. So to find these RockaDex Patches that can assist keeping them on is awesome.

A quick fix to Continous Blood Glucose Monitoring (CGM) challenges

CGM is a wonderful piece of technology that can give the Diabetes Educator, Endocrinologist, parent and of course the person living with diabetes an enormous amount of information that they would not normally have access to. Australia is only the second country I believe in the world that is subsidizing theirs for under 21's which is fantastic.
